A “request for explanation to a scam site.”

The following is a support ticket that I submitted to one of my non paying sites. I thought that you may get a "kick" out of it.

I joined your program in January and upgraded my account out of my own pocket. I have accumulated a measly $2.27 of which half was requested for payout over a month ago. I have messaged you before and gotten no response and I still haven’t gotten my money. What is the problem. A month and a half is nowhere close to the 24 hour or 3 day quote that you have on your site for cash ins. And please don’t bother to lie and say that you are waiting to pay out cash in requests at the end of the month because you and I both know that this is not true or I would have had my first payment this month. This is the second time that I have requested information regarding my pending cash ins so I am done hollering at the wall. If I do not receive either my money or even a response to this email you will leave me no choice but to report you and have everyone I know that is a member of this site do the same, I know 12 members and counting who are willing to support my complaint and that many complaints will get your accounts frozen with both processors. If by the end of March no payments are forthcoming we are going to report your theiving scam site to both Paypal and Alertpay so that they can freeze your accounts. No money for us fine, there won’t be any more money for your to steal from people either.
And on a more personal note, sites like this that take money from people to supposedly "accelerate" their earning process and never pay out anything are criminal and I hope that by reporting you to your payment processors that you will never again be able to open an account with either of them, thus putting an end to your shameless theiving.
I am more than aware that $2 is not a lot of money, heck I live in America where that won’t even buy one gallon of gas. The principle is what burns my butt, because you pay next to nothing per click to start with. But you have 1400 + members, whom as far as I can ascertain are not being paid either, with no explanation. For 1000 people even if only 10% upgraded their accounts, that means you have accepted hundreds of dollars of payments fraudulently and while $2 may not be a lot of money. If your members are even due a dollar each then you have just graduated to grand larceny which is a felony. And once you cannot accept payments because your payment processors have closed your accounts you are effectively through.

Non Paying and Scam sites

I am sorry that I have been posting so intermittently lately. I am in the midst of finishing out the last two credits for my AA degree from the U of P and that has been taking up the better proportion of my time. Without any further fanfare lets get started.

Clickersheaven-[this program is now on "fraud watch"] this was at the outset of this plan intended to be one of my core programs however since last month the site has been more than  questionable. The site has been down more often than it has been up. The webmaster has seen fit to offer no answers to members about this program (at least I have not seen any emails from them. Last month, for the last week of February the site went down with a minor error, but it stayed down from the 23rd of Febrauary through the 3 of March. This move prevented almost all of the members from being able to submit a cash in request  including. My intention, as with most of the membership, was to submit a cash out request for the funds in our accounts on the last day of the month, so that the entire month, which was short anyway, could be applied to the entire months earnings. In fact I seriously doubt if anyone submitted their cash in request for Febraury before the site crashed. When it came back up on the 3rd it was only functional for a matter of mere hours followed by several days of the "error" again.

CH has been back in and out intermittently, between March 15th thru March 21st the site was not "down" there was an "under construction" message page. Still no explanation forthcoming. As with the outage in February no mention was made of the fact that all upgraded members had several days of their purchased upgrade periods stolen from them due to this SQL error. As of now the site is still down. It says that the host company has suspended the site, so the script must have still been buggy, either that or we crashed it due to everyone trying to log in and figure out what is going on. However unless the webmaster is willing to return the days that his site has been down and access to the program has been denied I WILL NOT BE UPGRADING my account with this program ever again. I am almost frustrated enough to simply declare the site a fraud and move on. In the first place they never mention that the webmaster will only pay out around 2% of the balance accumulated on your account. Which means that their claim of 2c and 4c per click is fraudulent. I tried to roll with that by thinking, Well, that is about the same amount that most of the other Paid to click sites are paying out per month. However most of the others don’t make a mystery out of it, they explain that up front.

Active Clickers- [This site is now on "SCAM" status] Again one of the programs that came highly recommended to me as a paying site with a lot of clicks per day. The site has now been down over 2 weeks, without a word or explanation and at different times during this period the site has had other sites (non GPT) sites and even search engines inserted as redirects from that website and the site has offered absolutely no explanation at all. I was nearing cash out but as there is no contact and no response to inquireies I assume that none of the members will be paid by this scam site. I assume that the webmasters have sucked the site dry of it’s revenues and that of course includes the payments that are owed to the members of the site, and have run off. Probably to tweak the site GUI so that they no longer look like themselves and spring up again under another web address, with a revamped script to run the same scam again!

Free cash click-[This program is NOT paying] I opened almost 50 accounts with Get Paid to Click sites in January and free cash click was one of the accounts that I actually joined for the credit specials that they were running as a brand new GPT program for promoting my sites and affiliate programs. They are on of those sites that pays a fraction of a cent per click and thus it takes considerably longer to accumulate a cashable amount. They however offer cash ins at minimum $1 for alert pay and $.50 for paypal users. However I reached minimum and continued to click until I accumulated $1.09 (no mean feat at as little as $.0001 and a maximum of .5 cents per click) and requested that my cash be sent to my Paypal account on the 9th of February. The payment IS STILL SHOWN AS PENDING a month and a half after I requested my funds. I have even emailed the admin of the site to ask where my money is and have as yet received no response and still no money. In this time I have accrued another another $1.18 which I submitted a cashout request for last night, bringing my pending payment to $2.37 and there is absolutely no indication of when they plan to tender my pending cashout. Mind you the money I am due back from them is just barely more than the amount that I sent them via paypal for upgrading my account to supposedly increase my earnings in January. The site used to indicate that for upgraded members payments were completed withing 24 hours and non upgraded cash ins took 3 day. I don’t know what their problem is but I do know that they are liars and that they have not payed me in almost 2 months..

Sorry that it has been so long since I have written in. I have been swamped with website building and homework recently. I haven’t even had a lot of time to work on my PTC sites. Though I have continued to participate enough to prevent my accounts from being deleted. I have reached cash in on a couple of my sites and I am close to cashing in several others.

Updates

Clickers Heaven- Yes I am now aware of the very low amount that they pay out on your balance. Since it is approximately the same amount as many of the other pay-to-click sites out there (even though they should make that clear from the start.) Also the last few days of February when most of the people with $20 or more on their accounts would have placed their cashout requests the site was down. I am not sure whether this was intentional or not but it is certainly suspicious. I would also like to mention that they were not the only one with this scripting problem at the end of the month. So it could also have been a legitimate problem that they needed to fix.

Take the Globe- They found a loophole in their script which enabled a bunch of scammers and cheats to take advantage of the site so they are revamping the site. The good news though is that they intend to pay everyone the balance that they had accrued out of the profits from their v2 launch.

active clickers- They have been offline for the last week. Everytime I try to return to the site there is some other site parked at that address. So I am not sure but I think they may be out of business.

Free cash click- I requested a paout from them more than a month ago for $1.30 cents and I have still not been paid though they show my payment as still pending, on begins to wonder after over a month what is going on with them and my payment. I have even requested information about it and have as yet received no response.

I am still working my program, clicking and clicking my way to cash out so that I can bring you the news of whether the sites are paying or cheating. Each time that I lose a site I just sign up for another so that I remain at 30 PTC sites. ACME people search is going well. I have recently signed two more affiliates there. I am slowly but steadily gaining referrals to my paying programs and I continue on. Hope I didn’t bum anyone out with this post. Keep your chin up and keep clicking!

After being a member for over a month of clickers heaven I am now aware that they only pay a very small percentage of the balance that you earn on their site. I was not aware of this at first, but I am now. After taking the time to consider the numerous sites that I am currently active on (30)and the amounts that they pay make CH’s payout is comparable with those amounts for other sites of the same type so for the moment I am going to stick with them.

Yes I think that it is deceptive of them not to make this clear in the terms of service on the site, the same as other Get Paid To programs such as Active Clickers does. I also believe that they lose a number of their members due to their feeling deceived when they realize that they will only recieve 2 or 3% of all the money that they believe they have accomulated on their account. Many GPT’s however do the same thing and pay out about the same amount. The problem as I see it is in not making this information readily available to the members when they sign up.
